Alex was one of my last free shoots that I gave away to help build my kids portfolio last year. When scheduling these shoots you just never know what the weather is going to be like and unfortunately for us it was beyond sweltering!! Despite the heat Alex was a very good sport about having his picture taken which is quite impressive for someone his age. To get him warmed up to having me follow him around with a camera we started on the play ground at Tyler State Park. We had a major rain storm come through the day before flooding parts of the park but thankfully the sun dried it up enough to play. My favorite part when doing kids sessions is just letting them run around and be kids. You tend to get more natural smiles that way versus having them sit still in a studio and say cheese. As you will see Alex is quite a fan of making crazy faces.
He was also quite fond of the swings as we found out. I have never seen someone giggle so much as he did that day. He was having a blast!
We were all very excited to see the ice cream man pull up after a long few hours in the heat. Thank you Shannon and Karen for bring Alex out to the park on such a hot day!
