“J” – Boudoir – W Hotel – Hoboken, NJ – 8.16.09

For those of you who may be looking at this blog at work…this is your warning that the photos in this post have implied nudity and may not be deemed work appropriate. Continue at your own risk.

First a big thank you to “J” for one, being brave enough to be my first boudoir shoot and two for being brave enough to let me post these on my blog! Boudoir shoots are becoming very popular and make a great pre wedding gift for your soon to be husband or as a one of a kind anniversary present. If you are not sure what they are think along the lines of Maxium Magazine but with you as the model. This was done as a one year anniversary present for her husband. What a lucky guy right! I live just outside of Philadelphia and “J” lives all the way up in Hoboken so it took a lot of careful planning and sneaking around to pull this off. I am still not sure how she was able to sneak out with a bag full of lingerie plus half of her husbands sports jersey collection and disappear to a hotel for half the day without looking suspicious but she did and without a peep giving it away. Very proud of you!

We decided to do the shoot at the newly built and very modern W Hotel in Hoboken. If you are unfamiliar with Hoboken, it sits right on the water directly across the water from midtown Manhattan. We booked a room with a city view in hopes to be able to do some photos with the skyline in the background but thanks to the construction cranes outside it didn’t work out. Despite that I couldn’t have asked for a more fabulous room for this type of shoot and a more fabulous person to do this with. Thank you again!

Note: If anyone out there is looking to do a boudoir shoot please contact me. Discounts will be available for a limited time with the agreement that I can use the photos (approved by you first) to build my portfolio.

And last but not least the most fabulous pink wall you will ever see in your life! Yes this was the actual wall in the hotel room and not a backdrop! If I could have taken it home with me I would have!
